A space to heal, reconnect,
and make meaningful change

Integrative somatic therapy for trauma and relationship healing

“Our bodies know that they belong; it is our minds that make our lives so homeless. Guided by longing, belonging is the wisdom of rhythm. When we are in rhythm with our own nature, things flow and balance naturally.”

John O'Donohue

ABOUT mE

I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist dedicated to helping you find safety and healing within your own body and nervous system. Therapy, to me, is not about fixing what is broken. I believe that each person carries an innate capacity for healing and growth.

My role is not to hold all the answers, but to offer a compassionate, attuned, and non-judgmental space where we can become curious about what lies beneath the surface. Together, we explore the patterns, emotions, protective strategies, and past experiences that may be shaping your present life. My hope is to help clients develop greater access to their intuition and inner wisdom so they can feel more empowered to make meaningful choices and create change in their lives.

This is my second career, and I bring both professional training and life experience to my work. As a parent to two biracial teenage sons and someone who has been in an interracial marriage for 20 years, I understand that relationships and family life can be complex, challenging, and continually evolving.

I am deeply committed to ongoing training, personal psychotherapy, and my own growth. Having experienced therapy myself, I understand the courage and vulnerability it takes to open up and trust another person with your inner world. I do not take that trust lightly, and I am passionate about providing a safe, respectful, and supportive space for the people I work with.

MY APPROACH

My approach is integrative, relational, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when we can safely explore the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that shape our lives and relationships. I see therapy as a collaborative process, one where we can develop greater awareness of what is happening beneath the surface and create new ways of relating to ourselves and others.

I draw from a range of evidence-informed and experiential approaches, including EMDR, Relational Life Therapy (RLT) for couples, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodramatic Bodywork, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Psychodrama, attachment-based therapy, and other somatic approaches. I thoughtfully integrate these modalities based on your individual needs, goals, and readiness.

With a strong understanding of trauma and its impact on the nervous system, I am passionate about helping clients move beyond simply managing symptoms to understanding and healing the deeper roots of their struggles. Together, we explore how past experiences may continue to shape present-day reactions, relationships, and ways of coping.

My work pays particular attention to the connection between the mind, body, nervous system, and relationships. By becoming more attuned to physiological responses to stress and trauma, we can begin to develop greater capacity for regulation, choice, and connection. My hope is to help you move toward a deeper sense of self-understanding, authentic connection, and lasting resilience.
